He enlisted as a private on August 27, 1862 at the age of 27. He was sent to the hospital at Philadelphia from Bolivar Heights, Virginia on November 6, 1862, and died of inflammatory rheumatism on June 25, 1863. He is buried in Shoemaker Burying Ground, Minoa, Town of Manlius, NY. |
