William H. Johnson (Pool)
Private, Co. F

Along with his brother Harrison, William Pool enlisted on August 29, 1862, at the age of 23, under the name of William Johnson.

He was wounded in the leg (fracture of the thigh) at Chancellorsville, Virginia, on May 3, 1863, and died in the hospital at Point Lookout, Maryland, July 3, 1863, of injury.
