Patrick Dunn enlisted August 29, 1862 at the age of 27.
He was wounded in the arm at Lookout Mountain.
Patrick Dunn was one of several members of
the 149th that were held at Andersonville
Prison. He was captured at Lookout Mountain, TN and died in prison
on May 11, 1864 of Anasarca. He is buried at the prison in Grave 1033.
