Lewis Light enlisted on August 30, 1862 at the age of 21.
He was slightly wounded in the head at Pine Mountain, Georgia on June 15,
1864. He was wounded severely in the arm at Lost Mountain on June 17,
1864, which resulted in him having four and one-half inches of bone extracted.
Transferred to V. R. C. September 4, 1864.
